It's been said by our government officials, by the news media, and by your friends and neighbors, 'life, as we knew it before September 11, 2001, has changed forever.
But, for none more than the law enforcement personnel across the country!
Words like 'anthrax,'chemical warfare,' 'ricin,' and 'ebola' were words we read about from the foreign press, not in Kansas City, Missouri---the very heartland of America! Since that fateful fall day in New York City, every law enforcement officer in America has been on highest alert.
The basic information contained in this course is designed to acquaint these officers with the new vocabulary; the various man-made weapons; and to recognize these weapons that are designed to not only harm and maim, but to terrorize a given population. The terms and acronyms used in this course are those accepted and used by the U.S. government, the military and most law enforcement agencies.
This course is awarded 40 TCLEOSE hours.
