Identity Theft
The purpose of this course is to give individuals involved in law enforcement a thorough understanding of the issues related to identity crimes in the course of performing their jobs. In order to thoroughly understand identity crimes, and the intricacies of these crimes, numerous resources are provided in hopes that officers will understand the foundations that form a basis for dealing with citizens involved in identity crimes. This course meets the Texas legislative mandates and TCLEOSE for 3 credit hours.
