1.1     LEARNING OBJECTIVE:     The student will be able to identify and discuss theories of prejudice.

2.1     LEARNING OBJECTIVE:     The student will be able to identify key issues in making law enforcement contacts with African-Americans.
2.2     LEARNING OBJECTIVE:     The student will be able to identify issues of professional relationships with Black African American officers within their departments.
2.3     LEARNING OBJECTIVE:     The student will be able to identify key issues in making law enforcement contacts with Hispanic-Americans.

5.1     LEARNING OBJECTIVE:     The student will be able to identify characteristics of gang subcultures (Crips, Bloods and Latin Kings)
5.2     LEARNING OBJECTIVE:     The student will be able to identify characteristics of subterranean gang subcultures.  (Neo-Nazi organizations, Skin heads. White Aryan Resistance, and the Ku Klux Klan. )
5.3     LEARNING OBJECTIVE:     The student will be able to discuss local gang problems.
5.4     LEARNING OBJECTIVE:     The student will be able to identify graffiti or tattoos from the local area.
5.5     LEARNING OBJECTIVE:     The student will be able to comply with any requirements for identifying a person to be included in a gang database. (See chapter 61 Code of Criminal Procedure).
6.1     LEARNING OBJECTIVE:     The student will be able to identify and differentiate among the terms “Middle Eastern,” “Arab,” and “Muslim.”
6.2     LEARNING OBJECTIVE:     The student will be able to identify common religious beliefs of Muslims.
6.3     LEARNING OBJECTIVE:     The student will be able to identify key issues in making law enforcement contacts with persons from Middle Eastern cultures.
